b. The Fires of Kuwait (1991) tape documents the fire fighting of the torched oil wells in Kuwait.
Footage includes the polluted areas. Highlights include excellent footage of extinguishing the burning wells and
the multinational effort involved. This tape can be associated with the Persian Gulf War.
NOTE: When the Sea Island Terminal was deliberately opened, 294 million gallons were spilled in the Persian
Gulf This pollution was separate from the torching of the 607 wells.
