f. Food Service Subsystem. This is a climate-controlled fully electric subsystem that can serve
three hot meals daily. This subsystem allows food service personnel to fry, grill, boil, as well as bake.
All the essential equipment that is needed (for example, ovens, pots, griddle, sink, refrigerators) is stored
with the subsystem. In addition to having a food preparation area, there are areas for dining and food
sanitation. A 96-foot food service TEMPER accommodates 120 soldiers at a time. Because of its size.
MWR personnel can show movies or hold other large group activities or gatherings in the food service
subsystem TEMPER. All power for this subsystem is generated from TQGs. Figure 1-6 is a sample
layout for the food service subsystem.
