Verifying Reports That do Not Meet Water Quality Standards. Water production personnel
will keep records of equipment gauges and meters, chlorine residual and pH of treated water, chemical
usage, amount of water issued, and units issued to. If the concentration of one or more of the constituents in
tables 1-1 and 1-2 exceeds the applicable standard, you should notify NCOIC and water team chief of
problem, suggest correction to problem, conduct follow-up inspection, and notify OIC and command surgeon
general if problem is not resolved.
Reviewing Daily Water Distribution/Issue Logs for Units That Received
Nonacceptable Water, and Take Corrective Action If Necessary.
(Refer to Figure 1-6 and 1-7). Identify units that have received non acceptable water. Notify them to stop
using the water and give the unit any other specific instructions that are applicable to the situation.
Determine corrective course of action and assist units as needed.
