planning petroleum requirements. A petroleum slate is the document used to
track and plan for future petroleum requirements. The fuel requirements at
ocean terminals are resupplied by ocean tankers via a program called
slating.

This lesson covers the procedures required to accurately prepare and review
petroleum slates.
