FOLLOW UP ON REQUESTS TO GET A BETTER ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE (EDD).
Requests for improved EDD by customer units are not mandatory but, when used, requests are restricted
to PD 01-08. The following procedures apply:
-Remove the latest status card from the due-in status file and enter AFC in block 1.
-Enter the data from card columns 67, 68, and 69 in block 2 (if zeros appear in those columns,
leave block 2 blank). (See Figure 3.)
-Record the followup request in the document register.
-Enter AFC and Julian date of the action in column N.
-Send the followup request to the SSA.
