OVERVIEW
LESSON DESCRIPTION:
In this lesson, you will learn how to supervise field water distribution
operations.
TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
ACTION:
Supervise FAWPSS and SMFT operations.
CONDITION:
You are the supervisor of distribution operations in a
DS/GS water unit which support the corps. Your supervisor
has briefed you on the latest operation order and gives you
the most current storage, distribution, and issue logs.
Your equipment consists of an operational 400,000-gallon
PWS/DS, numerous SMFTs and FAWPSSs, and enough expendable
supplies for 30 days of operation.
STANDARD:
You will supervise FAWPSS and SMFT operations, ensuring
that sufficient quantities of potable water are distributed
as required and that the quality of the potable water meets
the standards set by the Office of the Surgeon General.
