OVERVIEW
LESSON DESCRIPTION:
In this lesson, you will learn how to supervise field water storage and
distribution operations.
TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
ACTION:
Supervise PWS/DS operations.
CONDITION:
You are the supervisor of distribution operations in a
DS/GS water unit which supports the corps. Your supervisor
has briefed you on the latest operation order and gives you
the most current storage, distribution, and issue logs.
Your equipment consists of DS storage tanks and/or an
operational GS PWS/DS with expendable supplies for up to 30
days of operation.
STANDARD:
You
will
supervise
PWS/DS
operations
ensuring
that
sufficient
quantities of potable water are stored and
distributed
as required and that the quality of the potable
water meets
the standards set by the Office of the Surgeon
General.
