OVERVIEW
LESSON DESCRIPTION: In this lesson you will learn how to monitor field water storage and distribution
operations.
TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
ACTION:
You will be monitoring SMFT, hardwalled tanker, FAWPSS, TWDS, and PWS/DS
operations.
CONDITION:
You are the NCOIC of various storage and distribution operations in DS/GS water units
which support division/corps units in your area of operation. You have attended the
latest briefings on the current operations order. Your equipment may consist of
operational hardwalled tankers, TWDS, SMFTs FAWPSSs, PWS/DSs, with enough
expendable supplies for 30 days of operation.
STANDARD:
You will monitor storage and distribution operations, ensuring that the storage and
distribution operations meet mission requirement and that the quality of the potable water
meets the standards set by the Office of the Surgeon General.
