OVERVIEW
All Army mobile forces must be ready to mobilize at all times. As a Petroleum Supply Specialist you are
responsible for the delivery of sufficient quantities of high quality petroleum products to all forward areas. Proper
operation and maintenance of the FARE system is therefore extremely important.
Lesson Description:
This lesson covers the use of the Forward Area Refueling Equipment (FARE) system, hot refueling of aircraft,
and proper safety and environmental procedures.

Action:
The soldier will learn to direct the placement, assembly, and operation of the FARE system.
Condition: Given subcourse QM 5095.
Standards: The soldier must score a minimum of 70 percent on the end of subcourse examination.
