on the MIF. The process prints this report.
(2) A completed Kitchen Requisition and Returns Worksheet Report (PCN AJK-422)
for the date and meal you select from the Production Schedule Review and Maintenance process.
c. Kitchen Requisition and Returns Screen (AJK-411). To begin your kitchen requisition,
select option C from the Meal Production Planning Menu. The Kitchen Requisition and Returns
Screen is displayed. See Kitchen Requisition and Returns Screen below (Figure 7-3).

(1) Enter a meal date and press [RETURN].
(2) Enter a meal type. DO NOT press [RETURN].
(3) When you enter a LUN (lunch) or DIN (dinner) meal type and have not processed a
short order requisition first, a message is displayed: Do you want to include LUNCH SHORT
ORDER (Y/N)?
(a) Enter "Y" and the short order items are included with main line items. When
you use the same high dollar item for the main line and short order, the total amount is combined
on one line.
(b) Or enter "N" and ONLY the main line items are displayed.
(c) If you serve a short-order meal and select "N", you must process another
kitchen requisition for that meal.
(4) The message Please wait ... is displayed while information is gathered for the
kitchen requisition.
(a) A TISA item identification number (TIIN), item name, unit of issue, and
estimated preparation quantity are displayed for each item on the requisition. Ten items can be
displayed at a time. See Kitchen Requisition and Returns Screen - TIIN and Item Description
Display below (Figure 7-4).
