Tube Sampler either a glass or metal tube may be used, designed so that it will reach within about 1/8
inch of the bottom and have a capacity of approximately 1 pint. or quart. This procedure is applicable for
sampling liquids of 2 psi RVP or less and semiliquids in drums, barrels, and cans.
Vacuum Pump Sampler consists of a tube, plunger handle, and tubing. It has an outside diameter of 1
† inches and is 7 inches long. The sampler can lift about 25 feet of water at sea level.
