OVERVIEW

important for the petroleum laboratory NCO when evaluating quality surveillance and safety procedures at bulk
petroleum facilities.

During this block of instruction we will discuss identifying sources of contamination through a review of petroleum
laboratory analysis reports.

Action:
Acquire knowledge on identifying sources of contamination or deterioration for ground mobility
fuel through a review of laboratory reports of stored products, a review of bulk product gain and
loss figures, and a review of product rotation, reading and evaluating SOPs or QCPs, and
recommending changes in quality surveillance procedures.
Condition: Given all required materials.
Standards: This task will be accomplished according to MIL-STD-3004/MIL-HDBK-200, AR 715-27, AR 710-
2, and DLAM 8200.1.
