1. Menu Planning. Prior to any production schedules being produced the FOS must go through
a series of planning steps to ensure that she or he is aware of the critical elements to be
considered before any soldiers are fed. These elements include the number of soldiers to be fed,
what type of mission is involved, and what resources are available to the operation.
a. Dining Facility File Inquiry Subfunction. Use this subfunction to review miscellaneous
information in your dining facility files.
b. Dining Facility File Screen AJK-528. To review the information in your dining facility
file, select option F from the Inquiries Menu. The Dining Facility File Screen is displayed below
(Figure 6-1).
As presently designed, supplemental allowance and percentage data are not displayed on any
accounting or inquiry screens in the DFO Subsystem. If you are authorized a supplemental
allowance, contact TISA to find out the dollar amount and percentage.
