OVERVIEW
LESSON DESCRIPTION:
This lesson provides soldiers in the Quartermaster Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course
(BNCOC) with information on conducting on-the-job training.
TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
ACTION:
Students will identify the OJT concept in order to plan, conduct, and supervise
a training program.
CONDITION:
In a self-study environment.
STANDARD:
To 70 percent accuracy.

INTRODUCTION
You will be participating in the training of subordinate personnel. It is important that you know
how to conduct on-the-job training. This type of training, while more informal than other types,
occurs at the job site where things must be done correctly. Your ability to facilitate and promote
OJT will have a substantial impact on the performance of your personnel.
