Function Keys.

(1) Figure 4-6 shows the location of the 14 function keys. Only four of these keys are

used during processing.

(2) The [F1] key is used to open space. The [F2] key is used to delete information or

space. You can use these keys in the following Financial Accounting processes:

(a) Dining Facility to Dining Facility Transfer.

(b) TISA adjustment because of a Report of Survey.

(3) The [F3] key is used in some processes to page forward and view more

information. The [F4] key is used to page back.

(4) Function keys can help speed up processing when you are dealing with large blocks

of information.

j. Control Keys. Figure 4-7 shows three control keys. They are used to direct and control

the computer programs (software).
